Joy graduated from Western Michigan University Magna Cum Laude with a triple minor in Elementary Education. She was a classroom teacher for 7 years. Joy and her husband were married in 1990 and have 3 beautiful daughters. Bible Study Fellowship was the tool that God used to transform her head knowledge into understanding that faith is really about a growing, vibrant, and dynamic relationship with Jesus. Joy served as Children’s Supervisor for BSF for 4 years before joining the Children’s Ministry team at The Chapel. She is passionate about sharing God’s truth and love with the next generation.
