Favorite Bible character…Abraham...he trusted God and followed in His ways even in the hardest of circumstances.
I was born…in Murfreesboro, TN…where I lived until I went to college.
Life verse…“Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens; Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.” ~ Isaiah 40:26. The Lord led me to this verse during a time early in my college years when I was questioning my faith. He reminded me through this verse, that “yes,” He knows my name and I am His. If He cares so much for the stars, how much more He loves and cares for me.
I have traveled to…all 50 states…and a few other places.
Biggest pet peeve…people who do not use their blinkers.
What's on my bookshelf…a lot of nonfiction books that one day I hope to get around to reading.
My ideal vacation would be…any place I’ve never been before where I am surrounded by God’s beautiful creation (and which I do not have to plan or make any decisions while I am there).
Likes…chai tea latte, vanilla-scented candles, warm, fuzzy blankets.
My last meal would be…guacamole with tortilla chips, bacon-wrapped jumbo sea scallops, NO veggies, dark chocolate torte, and sweet ice tea.
My idea of a perfect day…a warm and sunny beach without any responsibilities.
Nobody knows…that I do not read fiction books. I become obsessed with them until I have read the COMPLETE series and neglect every other responsibility I have, including sleeping.
